About The Publication
Details:
Yoga Psychology Magazine (YPM) publishes articles that advance knowledge, discussions, and theories regarding the human mind, consciousness, intellect, and the propagation of ancient wisdom. YPM aspires to find a synthesis between modern empirical research and the traditional practices derived from ancient societies which have established significant systems of mental, physical, and spiritual healthcare. As part of our efforts to encourage the research and clinical practice of yoga psychology and other traditional sciences, YPM is working to publish and distribute materials which are both empirical and methodological in their research and production. We enforce information and resources that are verifiable, measurable, and capable of be tested under variables of quantitative and qualitative value.
YPM contains research articles from both eastern and western psychological systems, including Transpersonal Psychology, Contemplative Psychology, Yoga Psychology, Somatic Counseling Psychology, Eco Psychology, and other systems of psychology that directly address consciousness, higher cognitive functions, and in some cases aspects of spirituality relevant to objective aspects of human life. We also publish discussions by leading psychologist on various mental disorders and dysfunctions with the insight of ancient wisdom.
